Why does my truck need software updates? I just don't get it - its still the same truck that left the factory!
*I am taking classes online. Here is my history: 12/03-2/05 US Army Deployed in Iraq Heavy Equipment Operator 4/05-4/06 OWBF (a furniture place) Local Box Truck Driver 8/06-12/06 Werner Enterprises OTR Truck Driver 12/06-Present JB Hunt OTR Truck Driver I would really like to start working for a local company so that I can be home more often but I am concerned that when I finish my Bachelors degree next summer that no one will want to hire me because I have switched jobs too many times. What do you think about this? Will moving to one final truck driving job make a difference in whether or not I can get hired as a software developer?

I know I have to receive my CDL from the state I live in (Alabama) but what is the process of training and what is a good way to get in with a company since I have zero experience? Tags: customMy past three years are spotless.No incidents.But prior to that,especially like ten years and before,my driving record was horrendous.I have a drinking and driving charge from about 1991.I also lost my license,like 2 or 3 times,for being cited,multiple times.Does anyone have experience with this?Can anyone relate?How will this affect my chances of acquiring a CDL job,after I am finished with my schooling?
