What does it take to get a vision rider for a cdl?

I know people with vision in one eye with cdls. I had a commercial licence but was not allowed to get a cdl.

I do beleive that you will find it is a Federal requirement, not state. Check the following web-site. They should be able to direct you in the right direction.
